• Christopher D. Wright, CLU President of Wright Insurance Planning, LLC

Chris is President of Wright Insurance Planning, LLC, which is a boutique life insurance planning business located in St Louis, Missouri. Chris and his team work with their clients to design and implement insurance planning solutions that are specifically tailored to each person’s situation to meet their family, business and estate planning needs.

In 1985, Chris graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Finance. A year later, he began his career in the life insurance business and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) accreditation from the American College in 2003.

He has been an industry leader, giving many speeches and seminars to groups around the country on how insurance fits into one’s overall planning. Having been with a major life insurance company for 26 years, becoming the country’s third largest producer of all time, he ventured off to establish his own firm.

By establishing his own practice, Chris gained access to an endless portfolio of top tiered insurance carriers. This gives him and his team the distinct ability to provide their clients the most sophisticated and extensive policies utilizing the most favorable mortality and expense structure on the market. Whether it be for personal life insurance planning, estate planning, buy/sell funding, key-man coverage, BOLI, COLI, executive benefits, charitable planning, long term care or annuities, being truly independent allows Chris to shop the marketplace, identify and negotiate the best pricing and design of policies that one can buy.

Chris and his wife, Melissa, reside in Ladue, Missouri and also spend many months of the year in Edwards, Colorado. They have two grown children; his son is married living in Florida and his daughter lives in Texas. They are members at Boone Valley Golf Club, The Alpine Club, Country Club of the Rockies and the Racquet Club Ladue.
